I don't know if this is where I'm meant to reply, but it wasn't patronising at all! I'd have been more concerned if you didn't ask... 100 miles at 25kph with some hills should be fine - I'm pretty sure - and now the summer's here I want to start getting more miles under my belt.

My bike is better than my swim and my rusty run, I'm happy to say!
