The Hell of the Ashdown - what's your start time and how are you getting there?

I'm starting at 10:30 - anyone fancy riding with me to the start or will you all be halfway round by then? ;-)

I've got a 10:02 start to avoid any ice.

Also I'm a laze starter

Well the results for the Windrush crew in the annual Hell event are are in. And well done to everybody who finished - especially to Clare who must have got the worst of the weather but still soldiered on to the end - with a birthday hangover.

King of the Ashdown was Charles in a time of 4.36. Queen of the Ashdown went to Hayley Down in 5.09.

Harry Cole was disqualified for failing to turn up in his van but the Ian "the Dentist" Reed stepped into the breach admirably to give him a PB that I suspect he might struggle to break ;-)

Windrush times

Charles Barclay 4.36
Ian Reed 4.37
Tony Donaldson 4.39
Ryan Gold 4.44
Frank Fonton 4.54
Hayley Down 5.09
Malcolm Young 5.09
Robin Bruce 5.13
Lucy Hurn 5.33
Clare Linley 6.39

I guess I shouldn't have stopped for so much cake :)

Hats off to Clare - I cycled home in that rain and I have never been so cold on a bike before.

Hello, does anyone have the gpx file for this ride that they could post, pretty please?? Thanks!

Hi Sarah

I think  I have it on my Garmin but have no idea how i could transfer it to you.

If you want to borrow it you're more than welcome.

I don't really know how to use the Edge, pathetic but true!

It's from Streatham Hill.

This is from the start. Apparently I ran the whole way :)

Not sure this will work as it is an activity not a course and that was the limit of my technological skill .

Thanks guys!
