FTP bike testing at Athlete Lab on Monday

I'm going down to Athlete Lab at 2pm on Monday to do an FTP test (to set your heart rate training zones). We get a reduced club rate of £20. Anyone else want to come? You need to book through them but there's spare bikes at the moment.

You do know you can do the same test at Cadence on their watt bikes for £10?

Just saying ;-)

Also,the FTP test is about setting power zones more than heart rates although you will get a max heart rate test off the watt bike that you can use to set heart rate zones

Or alternately at a virgin gym for free if you have a membership (or work there!)

Yup, I've done the test myself a few times on a Watt bike, I just wanted to see what it like there. 

Steve - Athlete Lab is where they make/ refurbish new athletes, some of Windrush's best came straight off their production lines (or a cycle training place in Cannon St)

Also interested in what athlete lab offers. Does the club get a discount for general membership/sessions? Or just the occasional one offs?
