Ironman Kalmar Updates

With 9 of our members racing in the Swedish ironman race today it is going to be fun watching the tracker

The good news is nobody drowned in the Baltic but only 11 seconds separated San S in first place from Neil McG in second.

Then in order it is Frank, Laura, Julian,Dave,Sam B, Erika and Steve

Neil just finished in 11.27 - stuck to the plan exactly - well done you fella!

Sam B and Maltese Steve running well at this stage

Dave looks like he is going to comfortably run under 4 hours for the marathon

Erika running well through 10k now that the timing mat problem has passed

Dave just finished in 11.44 - Maltese Steve running well - maybe if he cut his hair he would cycle faster?

Anyway I have to leave the Fantastic Nine to go and watch the Fantastic Four with my son. Would be great if someone could take over updates so I can sneak a look in case the film is er not so good :-)

Laura well done at 12:45 and no stopping for Julian who looks struggling with injury but hard to tell.
Frank at 12:18 great work mate.

Steve is slowing on the run.

Sam is running string ahead of Erika by 5km. The Pilates seems to be one training option.

Erika is half way in run at steady pace. Well done Girl. Not far to go now.
