Beginners ride Sunday Nov 15

I will be leading a beginners ride this Sunday, November 15. No one gets left behind and plenty of stops to regroup. Puncture repair kit essential-knowing how to use it not obligatory!

Meet at the lido car park 9am sharp.

We will  ride out on the Paragon route through Crystal Palace West Wickham Tatsfield Cudham Downe and back to the lido. Its a lovely route out into the Kent countryside. 

Please register your interest so that I know how many are expected.

Thanks Ian - will be good to get back out there. I think we should have a cake stop in the cafe in Downe. I can smell the Victoria Sponge if I close my eyes.

Any chance of meeting at Cadance at 0830 otherwise we waste time in the morning and traffic is lighter getting out of town.

If Tony only has one cake I'm sure we can afford to start at 9 and still be back in reasonable time, and I won't have to go out on Saturday night in my cycle kit.

But if everyone else wants an earlier start I can do that.

I'd prefer to start at 9 Ian

This is a beginners ride so we will be going at a comfortable pace anyway. There are a couple of hills on the route but nothing too severe. It's also very surprising how quickly you get out on to country lanes on this route. I guess we will be back at the Lido by 12.45.

At the moment the weather looks like rain holding off on Sunday so looking forward to it.

Can I assume 1245 actual home time assuming no issues rather than 1245 hippy time?!

Yes we should be back then, even with a cake stop!

It's about 55km, rolling hills rather than heartbreakers!

Anne and I will be leaving Cadence at 0830 for 90km ride. No cake stops until we arrive back at Cadence. If you want to join us - be there.
