As has become customary over the last few years I am organising a coach to ferry people to and from the race.  As we have learned from bitter experience, this is much better (and cheaper) than travelling by public transport which can be unreliable on Sundays - plus it's loads more fun and has been known to be followed by drinks and pizza!

There will be two pick-ups - one from Brockwell Lido and one from Tooting Bec Lido - to arrive in plenty of time for registration and pre-race warm-up.  Return will be around 3 hours after gun-time to allow plenty of time for completion of the race.

Just a thought Caroline!( it happens once in a while ) !! As its a small but very dynamic Windrush team taking part, maybe  it be easier to see who can drive down on the day ? if the other windies could contribute a little to the petrol costs for the drivers  & keep the costs down ? 

I have Nightrider which can take another 3 - 4 at a push.

I'll definitely be driving down as need to get back reasonably promptly that Sunday afternoon  - so will have up to 3 spaces if need be...and will post nearer the time if anyone wants lift

Hello! I'd planned to do another half marathon with a friend this weekend but unfortunately she's dropped out and entry has closed for the Fleet half. If anyone has a spare place of hears of one, please could you let me know? Really keen to join in. Realise I'm probably clutching at straws! Thank you, Sarah 

just realised..that the coach is cancelled..and made me also realise that I got no transport in going up...any one has space for me? or what have anyone agreed on?

Oh I missed that we're not getting a coach... Oops. Yes I'd like a lift too if there are any spaces going?! Charles is your car full?
