Woo hoo. ..having finally signed up yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to get the organising bandwagon rolling!

Entries are still open but may close tomorrow as it's 2 weeks to go for those still not entered. There seems a good spread of those doing the standard distance and those doing the half. Don't forget to use the Windrush code on the "Racing" tab for a chunky discount. Also don't worry if you are slow....that's what the club race is all about (and also being quick if you want to win the thing obviously!).

With registration opening at 6:30am it seems most will be camping. Info about where to camp is on the final race info booklet on the site. Let's try and coordinate to make a Windrush village :-).

Please post below if you can offer a lift, space in your car to carry stuff and tent space.

Emily and I will be driving down with the aim to arrive around 4pm to give plenty of time to get the tent up and have a chill out. Do people fancy a BBQ? Given that nights are drawing in we'd need to eat around 7pm I think. Also don't forget warm clothes for the night as they can be a bit chilly.

We can offer space to take some camping stuff in the car if needed.

I'm looking forward to another amazing games club champs!!!

Though I won't be there for the camping I'll be at the race in full cheerleading mode!

Hopefully everyone will be up for celebrating after - we have an area booked at Milkwood in Herne Hill from 6pm - come join to cheers the last official Windrush race of the season. See the event for details >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I will bring a portable BBQ that people can put their sausages and burgers on.

Tom has come to the rescue of Emily and I :-)

Are people keen on a BBQ on Saturday evening? We will need to coordinate bringing some food and disposables if so.
I'll be supporting too Nicky (with my flag!)! So if people aren't racing definitely come down and cheer on the others!

Richard - if you want to take other space in the car, no one else has claimed as yet.....!

Let me know.

Russ, that would be great. Thanks!

Fantastic Charles! I will try and get a portable one as well. Can people coordinate in their groups to bring the food they want to eat etc.

Yay for supporters!!

I'm now going to come down Saturday afternoon and have space for 2 extra people and their kit if we travel light.

I was thinking of leaving around 3 from the Lido

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone had space for one more in their tents....

Mike
Definitely up for a BBQ if we are allowed at this place. Shall I bring my portable one (here's a pic) or Charles, will yours be big enough!?

Does anyone have a spare race belt I could borrow on Sunday please?
Just seen this on the site:
Water temp today (weds) was hovering around 23 degrees, which would be a non wetsuit swim. Heavy rain is forecast Friday. So we will just have to take a final reading on race morning and make the decision then, the cut off for wearing wetsuits is 22 degrees.

I would bring it Hannah if you have space. We don't know quite how many people are going to want to bbq stuff on the night.
