Hi everyone,

since I didn't get a place in this years Prudential ride, I am thinking of doing the South Downs Way on the 8th July. There is a 100 Miles and a 100 km option, most of it off road on chalk tracks, through the beautiful south downs and guaranteed minimal traffic.

Anybody interested to join me there?

Haha we'll have to time that properly so that we can skim off some canapés for the sprint to the finish line :)
On the other hand you could just join in the ride from the start and stop over after the first 80 odd miles for an opera break, and continue to beachy head afterwards. Who would not consider that a day well spent???

I'm very keen on this idea Tobias but will have to play July a bit by ear.  I'm looking at doing this ride next week though if there's any interest..  http://www.cxsportive.com/surrey-hills-gravelcross-cx/

or South Downs Way on April 9  http://www.cxsportive.com/events/south-downs-gravelcross-cx/

Signed up to 100 miles.

Simon, not around for both those dates! how annoying...

Top Stuff Tom :-)

Ah shame Tom!

Yay Tom! If you need wheels for that one be warned I only have one set with disc brake, and I will need those myself ;)

Hi Simon, I'm keen to do a ride this weekend so if you're still thinking of doing the Surrey one let me know.

Hi Suzannah- yep I'm still planning to do the Chilworth ride on Sunday. I'll send you a message..

Hi Simon, how are you planning to get there? And what distance are you aiming for?

Please don't say the 85k one!

Hi Tobias- I'm thinking 60k.  I'm going to drive down. I'd offer you a lift of course, but first i need to figure out how many bikes i can take.

Hi Simon that would be great! Let me know!
