Event Description

25 June 2017 is the 6th anniversary of our very own special Aquathlon race! It’s going to be a good one but once more we’re calling on all the fantastic members of Windrush to help make it as good as it's been over the past years.

What is involved?

We will need at least 40 Windrusher's to help make sure we can safely put on the event and run it to the same high standards as previous years. Tasks that need help are:

- setting up the course and transition area
- registering competitors when they arrive
- assisting in the transition area
- giving out water
- marshalling the swim, transition and run courses
- helping with timings
- giving out medals to Juniors
- course pack down post race

What time?

Set up will begin from 6am with the race finishing around 11am.

Not everyone is needed at 6am but if you are an early riser (and prefer to help setup) let us know.

Any commitment from a hour to the whole morning will make a massive difference. Once clear up has happened we can celebrate and enjoy the sunshine with a picnic (fingers crossed) in the park!

If you love to bake (or try to) and can offer to create some treats for the finishers and helpers that would also be amazing!
