Summertime and the living is easy! Fish are jumping and the cotton is high....

As the Uk is simulating continental iM conditions (ie hot) I am going to do a nice long flat ride on my TT bike this Sunday to Windsor, two loops of the Windsor tri course and then back again. Should come to almost 200km, moving speed avarage circa 30kph. Join me at the lido 9am if you want to come along; you could just do Windsor and back, or plus one or plus two tri course loops according to your training needs.

Your daddy's rich and your momma's good lookin', so hush lil' baby, don't you cry!

Tempting though the idea of trying to keep up with you for six/seven hours on Sunday, I'm afraid my TT bike is still carefully stored in a box under my bed and it would take all of ten minutes to reassemble it.

But finally have got clearance from my rehab physiology to get on the road bike though (shhh she doesn't need to know...)

So if anyone is up for 50-60 k at a sensible pace how about meeting at the Lido to wave Charles and the TT riders off?

Ps hope nobody was watching the TDF TT in Düsseldorf

Hi Charlie, Yeh depending on how my body is feeling after Saturday I could be keen for this.  Would you be able to share the route?

Hi Charles

Planning on cycling fairly early with the TT bike to Shepperton  for a swim and then do a loop via Windsor. Hope we join up at some stage

Charlie, I'll see if I have the course file somewhere and then post it on the group.

If the weather continues this warm the 30kph average moving speed is probably optimistic, but want to do the distance.

Frank, if I leave the lido at 9am should be at Shepperton 10:15-10:30. I could drop in to the lakeside and see if you are ready to ride to Windsor and we could go on together? If not, no worries.

Tony, glad to hear your TT bike is going to get an airing.

Cheers Charles, Im based in Hammersmith so might be better meeting you around Richmond or west of the lido. Yeh I don't have my TT bike with me but I hope for some warm weather.

Charlie, I can meet you at the Roehampton car park in Richmond Park at 9:40am on Sunday. I'll be riding a white Cervelo P2 and wearing Brixon Cycles kit. The GPX file for the route should be uploaded below.

Hi Charles

Sounds good. I am planning on heading out around 7:30, so should be done by 10:30 (planning on travelling light (no wetsuit and no towel). See you then
