Sunday 9 July - 60k ride loop round into Kent

To distinguish this ride from Charles' TT trip to Windsor...

Am planning to leave the Lido at 9am Sunday, passing Cadence around 9.15, with the aim of covering around 60kish out as far as Westerham and back.

There are some hill climbs but happy to ride at a pace all can cope with - weather looks good so time to take advantage ...

Hi Tony, I'd love to join you. See you at 9am at the lido tomorrow!
If anyone wants to go out earlier, Anne and I are meeting at cadence at 0800 for 60km loop easy as its my rest day.
Hmm should I get up an hour earlier on Sunday to cycle with Deborah "fastest bike leg" Lloyd when "resting" or stick to the original plan of an easy paced ride at 9...

Err see you at 9 Katy (and let's hope that Deborah and Anne don't eat all the cake before we finish)
9am it is Tony :-)
I'd like to join at 9:15 At cadence - first post injury recovery ride so I may turn back early or drop off at a station but see you tomorrow! Hope I'm not too slow for you both!
Phoebe "first post injury recovery ride" sounds a lot less ominous than Deborah's "it's my rest week"

Am sure you'll be fine as I'm bringing a friend from Parkrun along too see you at 9

(In case M.Mahdi-Rogers reads this, it is of course my first post injury ride too)

What kind of pace are you thinking of? I'm done some group riding but I'm not that speedy...

Rosie considering Butch is planning to do this on a Rockhopper mountain bike (and is bringing it round so I can pump the tyres up properly)and I'm still spending two days a week at a rehab centre, it won't be the Tour de France.

But it is a beautiful route at this time of year so if nothing else you will learn a good training ride. Hope to see you tomorrow at 9.

Sounds great :)

My bike is more of a battered touring bike than a streamlined carbon racer. See you tomorrow.

I think I will join you Deborah. It beats cycling around Richmond Park for 3 hours on my own.
I'll be at cadence at 9:15 - let me know when you leave the lido!
Hope you had a good ride Phoebe...

I personally enjoyed the extra rest afforded by bikes which do not change gears effectively ;-)

Great day for a bike ride in the end so thanks all

(Also good to see Harry, Anne and Deborah managed to get round before we got to West Wickham - obviously enjoying the "rest" week)
