The current Triathlon season is nearly over...but don't fear it's now time to start planning the winter season (think cross country and duathlons) and 2018 spring and summer season (think triathlon, ironman, swimrun and aquathlons or even aquabike!).

This year we will take your suggestions (post below) and take it to an online vote which will be held in October.

Why suggest? It is more fun to do races together - so the more Windrushers we can get to one event the bigger, better and more exciting it will be! Post as many as you like, but only suggest if you actually will attend that event (supporter or racer).

Suggestions deadline: 14th October

Vote deadline: 31st October

Another half ironman option to consider: Challenge Peguera-Mallorca Oct 20 2018 for fab late season mid-distance race. Enter now for early-bird rate at 150 euros.

The Dunerunner events are good fun and good training. either 5km or 10km distance 3 times a year across the sand dunes in Norfolk. I also really enjoyed the North Norfolk Tri.

Might have already been mentioned, but a swimmer one:

Swim around Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour. It is always popular.

I think we should consider supporting the Arctic One Paratriathlon festival at Dorney Lake next year.

There are alternate waves for paratri and able bodied triathletes and hopefully this could be a means by which we could make the club more inclusive and extend the range of participants.

Also Haren needs more competition ;-)

The Breca SwimRun dates are out: https://twitter.com/BrecaSwimrun/status/918741590964887552

There are 'sprint' distance events at each location for 2018. Except for Jersey, sprint and full distance will be on different days (so you can do both!)
