Between 7-8pm we have two lanes to cater for a range of abilities and speed. The pool is a 50m unheated outdoor pool. The Thursday session is technique based with plenty of individual pointers to help you improve your stroke (The Monday Lido session is more endurance based).
Show your membership card or e-card at reception to be let through (if you haven’t received your card yet ask to be let through).
Bring towel, goggles, swim cap, wetsuit and bodyglide (or equivalent) and fluids if you want them. Wetsuits are optional but advised when the water is cold.
Please take your wetsuit off outside the changing rooms to avoid floods in the changing rooms (so don’t forget to wear something underneath). If you need to buy a wetsuit check out partner’s page for offers - http://www.windrushtri.co.uk/page/partners.
To be guaranteed of a space please login and RSVP for the session (Thursday 12pm is the cut-off for cancellations). If you cannot make a session please change your RSVP status to free up your place for someone else.
To check whether you are within the session limit, count the number signed up before you, starting from the bottom right corner.
If you don’t turn up / give less than 12 hours’ notice when cancelling twice in 1 month, you will not be allowed to attend this session again for the next 4 weeks. This ban will be posted on the website and in a message to your wall.
Please turn up on time, if you are more than 5 minutes late your place may be reallocated to someone who is waiting.

Sorry I'm not going to make it – stuck at work still
Audrey, this is what Charles is training for
In August 2015 the first test race was held for Lofoten Triathlon. The Arctic Triple organized an extreme distance triathlon in extreme weather conditions – with great success! 14 athletes finished a 3,5 km swim (shortened from 4 km due to strong winds and high waves), 196 km bike ride and 45 km run. The last 18 km of the run leg crosses two mountains and the weather conditions made the challenge “insane” according to athlete Magnus Minde. -But they all loved it and the entire route was decided to be the official Lofoten Triathlon route. The race will be held annually in week 33 from 2016.
So no mention of double swim hats please.
Maybe he could swim without a wetsuit? Would it be possible to simulate strong winds and high waves do you think? I doubt the availability of polar bears and Greenland sharks to improve simulation further
