Woo hoo. ..having finally signed up yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to get the organising bandwagon rolling!

Entries are still open but may close tomorrow as it's 2 weeks to go for those still not entered. There seems a good spread of those doing the standard distance and those doing the half. Don't forget to use the Windrush code on the "Racing" tab for a chunky discount. Also don't worry if you are slow....that's what the club race is all about (and also being quick if you want to win the thing obviously!).

With registration opening at 6:30am it seems most will be camping. Info about where to camp is on the final race info booklet on the site. Let's try and coordinate to make a Windrush village :-).

Please post below if you can offer a lift, space in your car to carry stuff and tent space.

Emily and I will be driving down with the aim to arrive around 4pm to give plenty of time to get the tent up and have a chill out. Do people fancy a BBQ? Given that nights are drawing in we'd need to eat around 7pm I think. Also don't forget warm clothes for the night as they can be a bit chilly.

We can offer space to take some camping stuff in the car if needed.

I'm looking forward to another amazing games club champs!!!

Can I book some space for camping gear in your car please?
If there's space for my camping stuff too that would be great. Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this.

If anyone else is driving and has space in their car for a person and a bike please let me know!

If there is a lift/space going for me and a bike that would be even better..I hadn't actually planned how to get there yet!

haha same here!  :) :)

Hi Laura, thanks for getting the ball rolling on this. It would be awesome if you sill had space in the car if you could take my tent and sleeping bag. I'll probably try and take a train down on Saturday with the bike. Cheers

I'll be driving down but unfortunately I only have space for one bike in my boot.

Happy to take luggage though to save people having to carry it on the train. I live near the Lido and if anyone wants to drop camping gear off in the morning I'll aim to get it to Sussex for 5/6ish. Let me know and I'll send you my address in a private message.

Laura I think a BBQ sounds like a great idea! Will we club together and do a big shop or should we all bring a few bits and bobs? Or if it's chilly and the weather not great I'd be equally happy with a nearby pub?

Hi All,

I have the gazebo and banners but am going away. If those going to Sussex want this kit, please message me. I'm going away but can leave arrangements for them to be collected from a colleague (daytime only before 3pm)

Hi, if anyone has a spare lift space for me and a bike please let me know as that would be amazing! Feeling very disorganised :-s not long now! X

I will be driving down on the Sat leaving lido at 3pm and am taking two people plus bikes plus camping kit (we discovered going to Bewl that three passengers plus kit doesn't quite fit!). Milen and Michael Flynn are due to travel down with me,  however I can take an extra bike if anyone wants me to.

Can I shotgun the space for a bike. I can drop it off at the lido.

Sure Ben, no problem. Bring to the lido at 3pm next Sat and I'll take it down.
