Windrush Aquathlon - entries open this weekend!!
We're nearly ready to open the registrations for the Windrush Aquathlon 2017 with tickets going on sale on the 5th February. The race is taking place on 25th June 2017 in Brockwell Park so make a note in your diary to come out and cheer/support/volunteer!
The race is an all inclusive event, open to all able bodied and paratriathletes including juniors from 8!

As this is our own race we would ask all Windrusher's support the race by volunteering but there's two ways you can race....
As it's a London League event we'll be putting forward our 3 best males and females (6 in total). Nick Flower will manage this but it's going to be based on your best Park Run time and Swim at the Lido. We also have a set number of places set aside for newbies to the club! You need to be new to the club in 2017 and depending on numbers it will be a ballot for the 8 spots available. If you're interested in the newbie spot please message aquathlon@windrushtri.co.uk with 'newbie' in the title.
For those that have taken part and volunteered know what a great day it is. Why don't you sign up your kids, friends and family?! If you know anyone who would be interested in entering as a paratriathletes let us know!

Entries are flying out the door!
If you have any friends, family or juniors sitting on the fence it might be good time to get them to enter. We'd love to see as many kids taking part as possible and also don't forget we're an accessible Aquathlon for all!

Windies, remember to put the date in the diary for volunteering! We need as many hands on the ground to make this a success. If you want to compete, the two routes are listed at the top - either you're fast or you're a newbie :-)
