Hi everyone,

since I didn't get a place in this years Prudential ride, I am thinking of doing the South Downs Way on the 8th July. There is a 100 Miles and a 100 km option, most of it off road on chalk tracks, through the beautiful south downs and guaranteed minimal traffic.

Anybody interested to join me there?

Yes I am very interested - 100 miles I can get the Adventure CX it does everything road bike out :-). Have you Booked up ?

One snag would be if The day clashes with some tickets I am getting for Wimbledon this year.

Haven't booked yet when will you know about the Wimbledon tickets?

I'd run this over a few days, but considering what happened to me last time I tried on a bike, I'm not so keen for the wheeled version!!

What happened??? Maybe you have to face your fears and do it again to get over this trauma... ;)

Nearer the time for allocation. So I am going to Enter and hope nothing clashes - Ive looked at the dates of the matches I really do want to attend and it doesn't clash with this event.

Also I can drive to the start of the event and train it back to collect the car.

I broke my pelvis in 3 places. I just can't! It's awesome there though. I know Susan has ridden there a fair bit, and Deborah.
