Want to try and qualify to represent GB at triathlon? 

You qualify for the age group team by taking part in qualification races. I've entered them all this year but due to injury am unlikely to be able to take part.

There's a group of Windrushers signed up already. It costs £68 to enter, I'll sell you my place for £50. (need to confirm transfer details up to 10 days before the event but ideally sooner)

Let me know if you'd be interested in Ripon Tri on 1st July as well. 

(NB I've not done either but I've heard good things about the races so even if you're not going for qualification, they're still great races to do).

GB has a great programme of offering you the opportunity to represent Great Britain and enjoy the experience of racing at an International level through the Age Group competition. Qualification is age graded so there is opportunity for all ages to compete. It's really great fun and even as a very unpatriotic person, I was still really excited to wear the GB colours! This year the world championships are in Rotterdam so super easy to get to compared with Chicago, Mexico (last few years) and Australia (next year), so if you're interested this is the year to give it a go! 

What is Age Group? https://www.britishtriathlon.org/gb-teams/age-group/about-age-group... The Great Britain Age-Group competition offers all Home Nation members a unique opportunity to compete at International Level in triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, aquabike winter and cross triathlon.  If you make the team, you can be proud to represent Great Britain and enjoy the experience of racing at an International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship or European Triathlon Union (ETU) European Championship. Qualification is age graded so there is opportunity for all ages to compete if you meet the criteria. Anyone who registers with BTF can qualify for the GB team, however there are also qualification processes if you are from another country and wish to race for them too - check out your home nation site for more info.
