Hi all,

We've been given a great opportunity to have exclusive use of the Velopark Cycle circuit at the Olympic Park on 19 November between 12-2pm. We are looking into organizing a fun brick session open to all members following the event (self-run or coached TBC) however there's a small catch…

We need to provide some marshalls for a Duathlon in the morning

In order to secure this session, we have agreed to provide some marshalls for a Duathlon earlier that day; we need you (members, parents, children) to give up a few hours before the session.

When: 19 November 9am - 12pm

What do you need from me?

  • Nothing - Just your attendance

What's in it for me?

  • A fun morning with your club-mates,
  • As much Tea and Coffee as you can drink,
  • A session at the Velopark for the whole club,
  • A £10 voucher for a future Velopark Duathlon (taking the cost down to just £4 for a race!)
  • A warm fuzzy feeling that you are helping to support our wonderful sport

How many marshalls do we need?

  • Ideally 15. More would be better, 12 is the minimum

Who can marshall?

  • Anyone and everyone. There are no restrictions; the more the merrier.

This sounds great, what do I do next?

  • Let us know you can help out by clicking attend on the events page
  • Put the date in your diary - NOW

bump bump.

We're just about ok on numbers for this Sunday at the velopark, but if you're free to help out for a few hours in the morning, that would be great! We'll also get use of the closed road mile loop if you fancy a spin on your bike after the event!

See here for more details.

YES ANNA! That's the kind of enthusiasm we want!!

ha ha, i'll make sure I save some for the day.
