Winter Training

We welcome all abilities at our club from ages 8+ and our sessions provide challenging training for all levels. The club organises a number of coached (and some un-coached) sessions throughout the week - please see below for the current schedule.

All sessions include a mix of technique, endurance and higher intensity work, the balance of each will depend on the season (e.g. more technique and endurance work over the base season in the winter). We also hold weekend workshops, such as swim video analysis, bike maintenance and nutrition workshops, these will be posted as events throughout the year.

Adult Winter 2017-18 Training Schedule

The following sessions will run from October 2017 until approx. April 2018 (see forum for exact dates). For more details on each session and to sign up each week, click on the relevant event on the list on the right.



  • 8.30 - 9.30pm - Swim session at Clapham Manor pool
  • 8.30 - 9.30pm - Pilates at Brockwell Lido


  • 7.30 - 9pm - Weekly road bike session at Herne Hill Velodrome, shared with Crystal Palace Tri


  •  7.30 – 9pm - Spin at Brockwell Lido Gym.


  • 7 - 8am - Swim session at Clapham Manor pool
  • 7- 8pm - Run at Tooting running track


  • [new swim course, only for those who have prepaid for the course]


  • 9.45 - 10.45am - free uncoached swim at Brockwell Lido


  • Member organised, uncoached club rides, check the forum to see what’s on offer.
