Hi Caroline,
If you actually did 14 lengths instead of 16 it would make your time per length approx 39 secs which would make your 400m time 10:21 - however that doesn't seem right because if we assume 5:10 for your 200m time, your css comes out at 2:36 per 100m which is slower than the 2:28 you did last time. Perhaps you could have another go at doing the time trial next week!
It would be good to do so we can measure the improvements in time I know you'll be getting over the next few months!

Hello, this is sent to all Saturday swimmers. Please read this post and follow the rules:

Therefore it is IMPERATIVE that you follow these two rules for Saturday swimming:
a) You must ONLY swim in the ONE LANE allocated to us from 09:45-10:45.
b) You must ONLY wear the YELLOW WINDRUSH CAP. If you don't have a cap you need to buy one before you swim at this session. Neil the kit coordinator will be selling them at swimming sessions. No Windrush cap, no swim.

It went well cheers. Over-estimated how long it would take me to complete so when I saw my finish time I was convinced I'd missed a lap on the bike AND the run. Pleasantly surprised when I checked the result later in the day and saw that I hadn't.
Plenty of room for improvement though.
Cheers again for helping sort out some branded kit for me.
Neil was right though, bit warm for the hoody!
