Swim Course: Back to Basics | Starting 4th October

Our ever popular 'Back to Basics' Swim Course is back!!

It will take you through the basic techniques to apply to your triathlon swim stroke to help improve your efficiency and as we come into the winter season there isn't a better time to learn!

Starting 4th October for 5 Weeks costing only £50 (5 min signup for the course to run)

The sessions will focus on the following:

- Breathing (head position, rotation)

- Streamline (body position, kicking)

Windrush Club Champs 2020

Hi all, 

At the AGM we will be voting on which races will be our 2020 club champs. We usually have a sprint, olympic and middle distance champs taking place across the season, where we encourage Windrush attendance, arrange socials around etc. This year for example, 30 of us went down to Sussex and camped, had a BBQ and cheered each other on in the race (and took home most of the medals!). Cross country (XC) is back!

XC Surrey league is back and here to kick away the post-race blues!

This is a great way to keep up your running throughout the winter. It's sociable, relaxed and you don't need to be a fast runner to take part. The more Windrushers we have, the more points we get! We've had a great Windrush turnout in previous years so it would be great to see the same again in the 2019-2020 season.

It is a mixed terrain so trail shoes/spikes are best but, providing conditions aren't too wet…

As you may have heard there has been a recent unfortunate trend of member's bicycles being stolen outside our very own Brockwell Lido. Whilst we would all agree it would be nice for both Lido management and Police to take a more proactive approach to deterring thieves, our belongings are ultimately our responsibility. Exciting Saturday Lido Session this week!!!!!

Windrush to make the triathlon big screen this Saturday 16/2/19!!
We have BTF (British Triathlon) popping by to film us in our natural habitat of the lido! So please don your best swim suit with Windrush hat and pop along to the normal Saturday session 9.45-10.45am.

Windrush Aquathlon - 30/06/2019 - Date for the Diary!

2019 Member Card Delivery

Heya All,

Like last year we're going to be handing over Membership cards at training sessions and Saturday Lido swim. I'll be at the Lido this weekend so come on down and collect your card.
