Hi All,
The London Region AGM is this coming Tuesday at 19:30hrs. All clubs should have been contacted, but I couldn't see a post relating to this.
It's important for members to find out what your region has been up to over the past year, provide feedback, raise points and have the opportunity to ask questions. It's in the city so some may find this quite easy to get to. Hope to see some of you there... ;-)…

We chatted about this in the whats app a while ago but just so we don't forget about it
16th November 2019-Old Deer park
Laura has invited us to run the Old Deer park parkrun followed by a swim in the lovely heated 33m pool. ;)
I'm sure we can get a Windrush cake to magically appear to help us recover post swim.
14th December 2019-Bushy parkrun
Claire suggested Bushy parkrun for some of…

Hi all,
At the AGM we will be voting on which races will be our 2020 club champs. We usually have a sprint, olympic and middle distance champs taking place across the season, where we encourage Windrush attendance, arrange socials around etc. This year for example, 30 of us went down to Sussex and camped, had a BBQ and cheered each other on in the race (and took home most of the medals!). We want to ensure we're giving the members the chance to choose, so we will be voting on the…

ContinueXC Surrey league is back and here to kick away the post-race blues!
This is a great way to keep up your running throughout the winter. It's sociable, relaxed and you don't need to be a fast runner to take part. The more Windrushers we have, the more points we get! We've had a great Windrush turnout in previous years so it would be great to see the same again in the 2019-2020 season.
It is a mixed terrain so trail shoes/spikes are best but, providing conditions aren't too wet…

Afternoon all,
As you may have heard there has been a recent unfortunate trend of member's bicycles being stolen outside our very own Brockwell Lido. Whilst we would all agree it would be nice for both Lido management and Police to take a more proactive approach to deterring thieves, our belongings are ultimately our responsibility. Here are a few pointers to making sure your bike stays safe:
- Use a "Gold" rated D-Lock (e.g. Kryptonite / Abus etc. Insurance often void without…

Hi all,
The first club race of the year is fast approaching: the Crystal Palace sprint on Sunday 12 May.
To celebrate what for many will be the start of the season, we're doing a BBQ to cheer on the Windrush Juniors and chat about our achievements.
We will need a BBQ or two and someone with a car to bring the equipment to Crystal Palace. Please can you let me (Nicola), Matt Curry and/or Emily Birch know if you have…
