Crystal Palace Swim - Monday nights anyone?

Hi Windrushers

We are busy trying to secure pool time to replace the lido pool over the winter period to complement our Friday swims at JAGS.

We have tentatively secured Crystal Palace 50m pool on a Monday night at 20.30 for an hour which is great news (thanks to Sue and Louise for this). We are hoping that this will form an important part of the winter training schedule.

Before we go ahead and confirm things though, it would be good to gauge interest and see if people would be interested in attending this session.

If so, even if only sporadically, please reply to this blog post on the website.

Thanks and see you at training tonight - 19.30 - 21.00.

This is good for me as I struggle to make the 7 o'clock sessions at the moment due to work. No excuses with a 20.30 start.

Mondays work well.....Like Laura I'd prefer an earlier time, to fit around family time, but then you're not actually offering an earlier time are you so I'll stop there.

Yes, Monday sounds great.

20:30 is great for me as I normally get stuck in work till late and haven't been able to make many of the earlier midweek sessions this year.

I can commit to attending the majority of these sessions throughout the winter.

Sounds good to me, I'd be able to make Monday at that time.

Better than a Friday night for me. As requested, I could definitely commit to this sporadically.

Happy to make it on Monday nights, time no problem, look forward to it. Who is taking it?

I think its great news that we could be able to swim at Crystal Palace. However, personally I think 20:30 is a bit late to be starting a training session as its hard to fit in dinner afterwards, and its really hard to eat before a strenuous swim as you don't want to throw up!! I guess CP is going to be really booked up though and hard to get an earlier slot? I'm really keen on winter training though, and would try to make the session.

Just out of interest - has anyone thought about morning training sessions?
