Following Tristan's departure into married life, and training in warmer climes, we are delighted to announce that we have a new coach on board - Jonathan Hotchkiss.

Jonathan will be on board for the Tuesday swims at the lido for the next few weeks and the wednesday brick bike/run sessions. . . and possibly more. Please do come down tonight and tomorrow for some great training and to learn from an experienced athlete. The lido pool will remain open for the next few weeks and the wednesday session will form an integral base for our winter training programme.

Jonathan's profile is as follows:

I’ve been a Triathlete for 7 years now, competing at London in 2002 as my first race, finishing in 2:48mins (I think). Since then I’ve represented GB firstly as an AG’er at World and European Champs, winning the European Duathlon Champs in 2004 before beginning my “Elite” racing career the following year. Domestically I’ve won numerous domestic races including Milton Keynes Sprint, Olympic and Middle distance, numerous Eaton Super Sprints, Bala Olympic twice, 3 times “The Vitruvian” including 2x British Middle Distance Titles and a P.B. of 3h48mins. Multiple 70.3 top 10 finishes and I’ve twice raced the World 70.3 champs finishing in the top 20 Over-all/Pro’s both times.
