Hello everybody,

We chatted about this in the whats app a while ago but just so we don't forget about it

16th November 2019-Old Deer park

Laura has invited us to run the Old Deer park parkrun followed by a swim in the lovely heated 33m pool. ;)

I'm sure we can get a Windrush cake to magically appear to help us recover post swim.

14th December 2019-Bushy parkrun

Claire suggested Bushy parkrun for some of those lovely parkrun competition points. The second largest of the Royal parks. ;)

Let's try and get >4 Windrushers for bonus points. If you don't have a t-shirt let the group know, I'm sure we have spares for the essential parkrun kodak moment. ;)

Please add any other suggestions for future runs then we can start touring................

I've had a look at travel options for getting to Bushy parkrun on Saturday. It looks like it would take around 1hr10mins to cycle from Brixton, or we can take the train from Clapham Junction (8:06) to Kingston (8:25) and then cycle for 15mins. If there is anyone that doesn't want to cycle you can take the train from Clapham Junction (7:26) to Surbiton (7:45) and then get the rail replacement bus (7:54) to Hampton Court (8:08) station, from where the start is a c15-20mins walk.
I think I would prefer to get the train to Kingston with my bike on the way there and then cycle back.
I need to head back relatively soon after the run, but for those with more time there is the option to go swimming at Hampton Pools and/or organise brunch.

Does anyone need any spare Windrush threads for tomorrow's parkrun?

Yes, I'm keen to join the cycle over. Don't forget your swimmers as well for the swim afterwards. ;)

Bumping this up. The more the merrier! We will probably organise to cycle over from the lido for anyone concerned they might get lost on the way!
