Friday night socials, starting tomorrow!
Dear funsters,
We are going to trial a Friday night social, starting tomorrow at the Bullfinch Brewery! Me, Becky G and Paul C are confirmed attendees so a fun time is guaranteed, as we are all wicked.
I believe that swimming at JAGS starts again next Friday so from next week it will be after that (although me and Becky will be away wild swimming next weekend so might reliant on others to pick up the baton of fun).
However, as a general rule it will be nice to have some drinks and maybe food on a Friday night - possibly after swimming, possibly on its own!
We will be there from 7pm ish tomorrow, if anyone fancies joining us. Post below if interested so we can get excited about seeing you, or just show your lovely face on the night and give us all a fab surprise.
The venue tomorrow is the Bullfinch Brewery, units 886-887 Rosendale Road, SE24 9EH. The venue may change in future, so we will post weekly for updates. But eventually we will try to settle on a regular handy place so we can all converge consistently, Queen Vic stylee.

A good time was had by all!
We kicked off at the Bullfinch Brewery as planned. Turns out they were expecting us as we'd posted it on Facebook! Windrush has become A Thing!
We drank a type of ale which is so strong you can only get it in halves. It tastes a bit like engine oil, but in a good, earthy way.
Despite the wide availability of sausage, none was consumed.
We moved to the Commercial later and it ended up being a fairly late one. Highlights included: Becky's Tales from Mexico, including how she used a stick to prise a snake from her back bike wheel spokes whilst riding in the jungle; also a very long chat between Alex and I on Whether Baths Are Good. That's how we roll in this club, people!
Shall we make this a regular thing (even though Becky and I won't be there to entertain with our bath and snake chat next weekend)?

If these are the stories prised after a couple sherbets we certainly need to make these a regular scene.
I do like the bullfinch and commercial, soooo sorry I missed out!
