UK Cold Water Swimming Championships at Tooting Bec Lido on Saturday 28 January 2017
The UK Cold Water Swimming Championships are back at Tooting Bec Lido on Saturday 28 January 2017. A must for cold water swimmers everywhere, it attracts competitors of all ages and abilities from all over the UK and abroad.

The original and best of cold water swimming races, relays, big jump in and hats, with sauna and hot tubs to keep you warm!
The races are:
30m freestyle £14 + £8 membership fee
30m head up breaststroke £14 + £8 membership fee
90m freestyle £14 + £8 membership fee
30m ice fly £14 + £8 membership fee
4x30m freestyle relay £48

I have taken the opportunity to go to La Santa on this day to avoid having to swim in such cold water. Good luck and hope you enjoy the cake after.

Don't worry Corrina, having given this plenty of careful thought, and remembering how much fun the Brockwell winter gala was, I have decided to fall on my sword and volunteer Haren Thilainathan, who has asked me to coach him through his first triathlon in May, for the last place in the team.
As I explained to him swimming in January in Tooting lido will fully acclimatise him for the open water swim in Dorney lake in May.
No cake though as I have him on a carefully controlled athlete diet.
