Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone was thinking about a bike ride on Sunday 29th that would not be the longest in the world, suitable for Tri newbie to learn how to ride in a group etc.

Hi, I'll be joining you too : )
See ye all tomorrow morning.
9am at the brockwell lido, right? See you then.

Just to say, I can't be there now, so don't wait up ;)

Hi, sadly I can't make it anymore! I would be up for a similar ride in two weeks time though.
Yep 9am - weather looks ok but slight chance of light rain I think

Morning all - the weather looks like it's going to turn pretty terrible at 11 this morning.

Going to head off at 8 to try and stay reasonably dry today I think ...

Sorry to bail last minute... might see you in Richmond!

Raya
Thanks Urszula for putting that up - was a good day for a ride in the end.

Well done Charles for having the speed of thought to get a puncture when Gesine was cycling too fast :-)

And she missed the kaffee en kuchen at the end - next time ill volunteer for puncture duties
Thanks for coming. It was a good morning.
Ha ha, tactical puncture! Thanks for the ride too! I even managed to hang long enough around in Putney to get wet on the way back too

Well done Urszula for dragging us all out to Richmond on a cold, dank, murky, mucky morning. Yes, Gesine was snapping at my heels like a hell hound all the way round and the puncture did come as a bit of a relief. After finding out my expensive, shiny new stainless steel mini-pump was completely useless and having re-pumped the tyre three times (thank you for the loan of a pump that actually worked Gesine), I had completely lost my mojo and there was nothing for it but to head to the cafe for chatting, cake and coffee.

Charles, perhaps more panting like a hell hound? : )
