I am just adding some massive enthusiasm to our excellent run captain's PARKRUN* MOB MATCH on the 17th.
It's free, it's full of people you like, it's very close and it's a parkrun you probably have not done
We want you there
You want to be there
See you there. Come on clubmates....#windrushfamily
* capitalised to escape Laura's wrath :)

I'll bring a spare t-shirt if needed. Anyone cycling over?
I'll be cycling Colin, but from Nunhead. Will also bring spare WR top in case anyone needs it.
I have the flag and am driving with 2 more spaces from West Norwood going to the first people to ask..
anyone over 6'5" might really have to squeeze in as I already have 3 in the car!

You could have used it to boost Windrush numbers by bringing Jackson along for his first taste of hill running

If it's not totally Baltic I'm planning to bring Noah (my son not a dog) along in something similar, Tony. Will be driving from Loughborough Junction if anyone needs a lift.
Hi Charles - I'm riding from Streatham Hill. I don't think our routes will meet. See you there.

Have you registered Noah? Everybody counts - we lost last time by 1 runner
not Baltic here btw 38C - so sticking to swimming - and not particularly quickly either

Good point Tony. Our times have been suspiciously similar up to now but i guess he needs his own barcode for this one. Enjoy that pool...

Good luck in the mobmatch on the mountainous tundra at Hilly Fields
Am having to start my first swim as it is so hot
Amazing turnout on the upland tundra of Hilly Fields at the parkrun - think I counted 19 of you in the results?
And some keen competition for the Julian Garcia (Memorial) cup looking at %s
Unfortunately it is too risky to go out jogging on your own round here and when i asked the guards whether they fancied coming for a run with me apparently they said in Igbo “you are somewhat eccentric” and politely declined
So more swimming but as you can see in the photo I’ve put on a Portsmouth triathlon t-shirt - so it’s not all lazing about
Respect to all. I thought It was going to be cancelled due to snow. Well done
Well done today everyone. An absolutely fantastic turnout in the cold and the snow. Somehow i managed to miss the team photo!
Looking at the results we had 19 registered scorers but I’m aware of at least 3 others who don’t have Windrush showing as their club - Emily, Simon and Suzannah making 22.
it’s all to play for in the Julian Garcia memorial trophy where Hugh, Alex and I all scored 72-73% today.
with the average of the best 2 to score it’s going to go to the wire. The good news is that being so old I get more % increase for every second i go faster!
well done peeps
