Hi all,

The first club race of the year is right around the corner - both in distance and time - Crystal Palace Sprint Tri - 13th May!

Each year this turns into a great day out with the gazebo set up and BBQ going, as we stay to cheer on the Windrush Juniors and enjoy all our achievements.

So we are looking for a BBQ or two and someone with a car (these may be two different people) to transport said BBQs to Crystal Palace.

Also looking for any camping tables to spread the all the food out on, BBQ tools, and probably something else I have missed.

We can all bring BBQing food and paper plates (or if we want to be earth friendly a reusable plastic plate!), there is a Tesco round the corner to pick up things last minute.

Volunteers to get there just before racing starts, so 8:30amish I think, to set up the gazebo would be awesome too.

Comment below if you can help with supplying any of the above, or get in touch directly.

Cheers!

I have a car (though it's a small one) so can help with transporting things

Thanks all! Sunday is going to be great.

Windrush starts racing at 8:30am and goes through to the juniors later in the day. We will set up the gazebo in the usual spot - https://goo.gl/eytqnH

Hope that worked?  Hopefully we can have some supporters there for the 8:30am start too but then trickle in as you can.

Everyone please bring bbq food. I will have paper plates and sundry for all.

Think that is all - probably missing something vital ...

Thanks for organising Emily! I will hopefully be there to support at some point, but I have a lot of family stuff to sort atm.

Well done Email and team - roll on Sunday!  I'll bring up some food.

Don'f forget all welcome to this if you are racing or not! Can't wait to see you there.

Please see Becky's post about the official whats apps groups - as will be using those to keep in touch over the day!

I'll be there to help and support too!
