Hi everyone,

As some of you may know I enjoy the occasional long distance bike race. On Thursday I will be competing in the TransAtlanticWay Race (TAW), as self supported 1400 mile race around the Wild Atlantic way in Ireland. It starts in Dublin where the racer take their own route to Derry and join the pre-defined route to Kinsale near Cork. The clock doesn't stop until you finish and I expect there to be lots of hills, rain and sheep.

I will be tracked during the race, so if you fancy dotwatching me over the course of 8 to 10 days check out:

There is an active TAW race page on Facebook for additional information and I will be using Instagram to document some of the ride.

Thanks,

Rory

You finish in Kinsale!! It's an amazing place! You'll be able to feast at the end of the race! Now you have the aero-tache you'll cruise it!

Good luck Rory

Sounds like another fun ride for you. I will certainly keep an eye on your progress

Enjoy

Frank

Looks like Rory is having a fun time in this video - although at least he can't complain about the weather!

Looks great! Apart from the 23% climb bit...
