Hi,

For all those doing the Cotswold Classic in a few weeks time, you probably saw the email from 113 events today giving us the opportunity to select a start wave - so I wondered whether anyone had any objections to my requesting a Windrush mass start, being a club champs and all?!  We all started in a wave together last year and it was great. I’m happy to do the admin, but if anyone wants to opt out or has a particular reason to start in a particular wave, then probably best if you contact 113 events yourself.

From the start list it looks like the following are racing:

Andrew B, Alistair Cameron, Lloyd, Tom Derrick, Oli D, Ben Dolmab(??), Alicja, Ben G, George Hay, Ben H, Gesine, Colin M, Tobi, Lawrence Morris, me, Ben R, David S, Fran S, Hugh S, Paul W and Justin W... plus anyone I missed in the list or who didn’t lost Windrush as their club...

In terms of accommodation, there’s a campsite just down the road from the start - http://www.go-by-cycle.co.uk - again, we stayed there last year and had a ‘Windrush village’ going on and it was super convenient - BUT NOTE we called up to book a spot yesterday and they said it was fully booked but that they would squeeze us in as we were racing so if you’re keen on the camping option, you might want to get in touch with them pdq.

Looking forward to it!

Thanks Ellie. Happy to start together. Just to make clear we call up to book accommodation on an individual basis?

Yup! I think they’re unlikely to take a group booking if they’re already pretty full, but might be happy to squeeze the odd tent in!

Thanks Ellie. Are you booking the Windrush group start? For everyone else - if you are travelling and not by car the best route I found is to get from Paddington to Kemble, and then it’s 30 min bike ride on cycle network route. I’ve just booked my tickets (panic over!) :)

Yup, i’ll sort the wave

Hi Alicia

I've booked my camping. What trains have you booked?

Tried to sign up and is now full... if there are any places going (if you’re allowed to transfer places), I’m down for a slot.
