I know it seems madly early to be thinking about an early spring training camp in Lanzarote, but Club la Santa gets booked up earlier each year so we have to act now. I have reserved seven one-bed apartments at CLS with three people per apartment for Sat Feb 23 to Sun March 3 (eight nights) as today is the last day of the discounted early-bird rate of £1,157 per apartment. This means the cost of accommodation and access to nearly all of la Santa's sporting facilites will cost just £385.66 per head, excluding flights and meals, and there are twenty one places available.

If you would like to come for this self-coached training camp, please PM me to let me know and include your phone number and email address. You will need to pay a £100 deposit now as I will need to forward all deposits to CLS by the end of July. The balance will be due 2-3 months before departure.

It is hard to remember how grim the Beast from the East was in Feb/March this year as we bask in a heat wave, but Lanza was definitely better than staying home!

There is usually an alternative club training camp in Mallorca later in the spring with Tri Camp that is more structured and has coaching. This is better suited to people new to the sport or who want to get personal coaching during their tri camp.

Hiya, think I'm going to listen to the bank balance rather than the lure of the hills and drop out on this one, sorry

OK, no worries Lucy.

Hi Charles,

If there are still spaces I'm in!

I've sent you a friend request so I can PM you my details.

Ash

Have you sold you the LANZA dream in the chat?

Am rushing to get things done in the office before setting off to Tartu, so have no time for selling Lanza dream right now! I think Alicija might be posting something on the Whats App groups.

Hey Charles, we explosion of wonderful comments on the whattapp groups :-) ? My comment was refereed to that. Have a great time in Tartu!

Have we..

Brilliant! thanks Fran

I'm keen to fly from Gatwick as well. Not fussed about EasyJet vs BA but also not keen for a 4am start.

I know it’s a long time from now but I’m looking at booking flights (too excited!). I’m planning on flying in with BA (leave Gatwick on Saturday at 14:35, arrive at 18:55), and return with Easy jet on Sunday 3rd March at 12:40. BA is currently cheaper than easy jet on Saturday 23rd and it means I don’t need to get up at 4am to be in the airport... let me know if anyone else is planning flights already

The 4 am start is bit brutal but also gave you the chance to pick your bike / go for a swim settle down.

this year we went for a nice ride assemble the bikes etc etc.

Hmm I suppose it's 7 hours extra of sunshine. I'm happy with anything (as long as it's Gatwick).

According to Skyscanner there's also Thomas Cook...

Hi both, I’ve done way too many early starts for holidays and learnt that sometimes they are not worth it :) with well over a week there I’m happy to sacrifice a swim over sleep :) so I’m definitely going with BA flight there. Return tbc. But I think easy jet is cheapest of all? And returns at a decent time at Gatwick?
