Price: £164.00 per team + Admin Fees (+Race license if not held)

How It Works

If you have never taken part or haven't seen the OSB Events Triathlon Relays before, we have created a quick guide to help explain just what happens on the day:

The Event:

• Each member of your team will individually swim 500 meters before tagging a teammate, and so on until all four members have completed the swim. 
• Next, they move onto the 15km bike, again each member individually completes the bike and tags the next member until everyone has done their bike leg. 
• Finally, the 5km run, and as you might have guessed each member individually completes the loop and tags the next team member until the final member crosses the finish line! 

The Day:

The day is broken down into morning and afternoon races:

In the morning, the men's and women's categories race in various categories for National Championship Awards - junior, senior, vet 40 and vet 50.

In the afternoon, the mixed category will give the chance for the men's and women's teams to combine and race for more National Championship Awards.

If you choose to race in the Open Category, then you also choose whether you race in the morning or the afternoon - how great is that!

Please note that:

• a junior team must all be under 20 and not less than 15 on 31/12/2018
• a senior team must all be not less than 15 on 31/12/2018
• a Vet 40 team must all be over 40 but at least one must be under 50 on 31/12/2018
• a Vet 50 team must all be over 50 on 31/12/2018
• a mixed team must have a 2:2 ratio of male to female
• a team with mixed clubs, non-BTF members or unattached BTF members will be classed as Open and not eligible for National Championship Awards
