Hi,

I am keen to try a time trial and or hill climbs this year and have registered on Cycling time trials (Windrush is also an affiliated club)

However finding the website super confusing and also would love to do it Windrush Family ... is anyone else keen, doing one or know of a friendly/close by one to start with?

Cheers

Em

I've done a few before but the CTT is a bit old school, bit like cross country. But it's also great and very cheap race entries etc.

Also know there is a good womans london league set up for CTT - Becky used to know a fair bit about it and could probably explain. Also check this out https://londonwomensracing.co.uk/all-about-time-trials/ ;

York Hill Climb in Kent is this Sunday. I went and supported last year, makes for a really fun coffee stop on your ride. Sadly I'm away this weekend otherwise I would be going agian.

I'll be keen to join in with a few TT events over winter, (weather dependent) like Nick said, they're cheap and cheerful (you leave a donation for tea and cake)

If you trawl through the website here https://cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/find-events you can find more local events using the filters,  once you register you'll get a confirmation a few days later and they'll usually send over the details 7 days before the race.

I’d be up for this :)

I'm up for some cycling mischief too, not this weekend though

Me to! Let me know which ones you plan to go to!

Thanks all! In an update I am going to try to do the Mott st Hill Climb run by east london velo this Sunday.

You can check it out on their instagram.

And then do the LWR next year. But do shout if you are doing anything before Christmas, I will also have a look for some too.
