London Triathlon 28 July 2019
Hi Everyone!
Claire and I have entered the London Triathlon in the Olympic Plus event on Sunday 28 July. We are doing the Westminster route and the distances are 1.5km/80km/10km, so basically the ideal ratios (maybe a bit too much running still...). Entry is £20 off until the end of January, so it's not as expensive as otherwise. But you save on travel and accommodation costs, so it's really not as bad.
If anyone else is keen to join, I've set up a team with a mixed wave start.

The team is only for a single category of race, but if others are keen to start together, it's very easy to set up another team.. I've done it before and people did it last year and we all have good things to say about it. Flat and fast course and in London, so a great opportunity to push yourself or use it as your first race! Hopefully see some of you there!

I've just upped my Sunday entry from sprint to Olympic on the Sunday still. Did London a couple of times but 8 years ago. Great race for sure especially if new. Plenty of chances for friends and family to spot you as well

It is now part of the London League events too. :-) comms coming out imminently and there will be another LL specific discount code, There will be a LL specific wave on Saturday if you want to race alongside other London clubs but entry on either day will qualify for the League.

This is great news Lara! Good that London Tri is finally part of the London league (especially as there aren't that many triathlons in the league!
