Anyone up for some end of season Super League fun?!

***Calling all wannabe Super League Triathlon racers!!!***

If you haven't seen it, the Super League is a really fun take on triathlon, bringing a completely different format to triathlon in a number of different races (e.g. the Triple Mix, where they shuffle the order of the disciplines, or the Enduro, where they non-stop swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run etc. etc.)  Most of the usual World Triathlon Series contenders turn up to race and it is ALWAYS entertaining (with racers not finding their shoes and running barefoot or getting confused and accidentally running in their helmets or goggles and so on).

Anyway, there's an open age group race at this year's Jersey event on 28/29th September - for either the Enduro (they tone it down for non-pros so it's 'just' swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run and you don't have to go for the third time round) or for a normal Sprint triathlon.  Granted, the faff of flying to Jersey with a bike might not be worth it for such a short race, but it's only an hour's flight and Easyjet have return flights from £40.  You also get to watch the elites racing on Saturday and Sunday afternoon (the open age group races are on Sunday morning).

We've never been to Jersey, and it's meant to be rather nice, so David and I thought this sounded like a good excuse to go, and are therefore planning on heading out there for a long weekend and a spot of Enduro racing to close the season.  As ever, it would be great to see other Windrushers there, so let us know if you're keen to join!
