Now that restrictions are being lifted, we've decided trial a club ride!

We are heading to our local cycling heaven, Kent - with a choice of shorter and longer routes.

This will look a bit different to previous rides so that we can aim to do as much social distancing as possible and keep everybody safe.

We can have a maximum of 5 groups, with 6 people in each group. There are a few different cafe stops and different set off times from Cadence, so it could be unlikely you will see any Windrushers from other groups on your ride (sorry!)

To sign-up for the ride, please enter your name in a group here, noting your start slot and cafe stop: https://rb.gy/c2red7

Please ensure you are arrive 5 minutes before your start slot so you are ready to roll out on time!

If your desired speed of group is full, please let me (Jen), Jack, or Emma know. Depending on demand, we might be able to change the speeds of groups. No guarantees though! In the first instance, just try to group yourself with riders of similar speed.

Routes:

Long route link: https://www.komoot.com/tour/241468772 (both cafe stops are on here, please note your cafe stop from the sign-up sheet and only go to that one!)

If you are experiencing symptoms or are supposed to be quarantining for any reason, please do not sign up. If you sign up then experience symptoms on the day, please message somebody in your group to let them know so they are not waiting for you.

Stay safe, Jen

For those doing the long route and stopping for coffee by the river at Eynsford, it is worth crossing the bridge beside the ford and going another 500m to the elegant brick railway viaduct upstream from the village. Good for selfies! The road is a dead end so you have to retrace your steps and re-cross the bridge.
