Follow Justin in Kona/ 3 Top Tips for Improved Triathlon Training

http://www.cppg.co.uk/article.cms/3-top-tips-for-improved-triathlon...

I spotted this great blog on the Crystal Palace physio website from our very own club member, Justin Walsh.  Given that he is not only an experienced physio but also makes his Kona debut tonight, it's probably worth a read! I'd 100% agree with everything he says, particularly the importance of a periodised training plan. Use the winter period to set your goals for next year, enter the appropriate races, and plan structured training up to them (allowing time for illness, injury, time down the pub...).

(Yup, 100% using Kona as link bait to talk about importance of structured training!)

Anyway, onto the far more exciting subject of Kona, the pro action is kicking off any minute now, with age group men (i.e. Justin) from 6.05 uk time. More on how to follow it online here - https://www.tri247.com/triathlon-news/event-news/how-to-watch-ironm...

And follow Justin on the IM app which actually works quite well, he is bib number 2051. Not sure what time he's starting.

GOOOOOOO JUSTIN!!
