If you have done a race:

• sprint / standard / middle / full
• triathlon / duathlon race
• since September 2018
• can spare £10 for registration

and finished within (use this calculator):

• 120% of the winner you can apply for the EUROPEAN age group championships to race for Team GB!!
• 115% of the winner you can apply for the WORLD age group championships to race for Team GB!!

• You NEED to have or sign up for BTF core membership
• Getting a spot on the team does not mean you have to take the spot (but you won't get your £10 back if you change your mind)
• Please note you can only apply for the type of race you have results for, e.g. sprint triathlon championship race means you need a sprint triathlon result.
• Aquathlon and Aquabike are slightly different entry requirements. Please read the entry pages for full details or pop questions below.
• If you are a citizen of another country - why not ask the countries triathlon federation how you can race for them? We have had club members race for France and Germany!

What is the process

• They will give you a Q1, Q2, Q3 spot or Roll Down number
• They will confirm race date and location (if they haven't already)
• They will ask you for the race fee (normally February) and a short time frame to pay by (normally 30 days)
• If you don't pay you will loose your spot and it will be given to the next roll down number
• This will keep happening until all 20 slots in the age group are gone
• This process continues until about a month before (so if you are a roll down you may get a last minute spot - so keep the money handy and the date free!)
