The super multi-talented Jenny G as well as being a scientist, triathlete and a wonderful massage therapist, is also an amazing musician. She is part of the Trans Siberian March Band who play some incredibly flamboyant, totally upbeat Balkan folk/dance music with some Russian drinking songs thrown in! I can't really describe it, but you can't help but get involved in a boogie at one of their gigs! Those who went to the New Years Eve Eve masked ball will remember them from that night too :-)
The TSMB are playing at Off the Cuff at Herne Hill (where we had our fab Jan party this year) as part of the Herne Hill Music Festival on Thursday 12 October. A few of us were already going, but I thought I would spread the word in the hope we can get a massive Windrush crowd along for some fun.
Tickets are £11 from here: http://hernehillfestival.org/programme/143-Balkan+Dance+Party#content
Don't delay as they seem to be selling fast!
Its going to be AMAZING!!!

My other hobby (as well as being our resident 800m athletics "specialist"and vaguely doing the occasional multi-discipline activity on Strava!) is live bands and great music.
Yep, I've just bought my ticket!

I have a spare ticket to this if anyone wants to join; JC can't make it
Wow! Got to be worth going just to see Lloyd strutting his stuff. He's not a bad triathlete either...
