Hello!
I'm new to triathlons, and have my first one at the end of the month (London Triathlon Sprint distance.)
I'm trying to get my kit together and I've heard that there might be some spare race belts from the Crystal Palace triathlon earlier this year?
If anyone has one they're not using - I'd happily take if off their hands.
I'll be at the swimming session this Thursday.
Thanks - Shalyn

Hi Shalyn
Congratulations on signing up for your first triathlon! London is a great spectator event so you'll really feel the support as you race.
We don't have any club specific race belts for Windrush that I am aware of, I know that CP have their own.
I just have one and am more than happy to lend you it if you'd like. Or, if you don't get any luck elsewhere for a spare, at the Excel centre for the London Tri they usually have an expo with lots of stalls with cheap tri gear so you could pick up a bargain there too.
What day are you racing? There is a forum post up about our other club members taking part too if you haven't already seen it - that would be good to get together!
Hi Shalyn,
You can have my Crystal Palace race belt. I'll pop by tonight's training session and leave it with the coaches.

Hi Shalyn,
Apologies for the no show, I had to work late tonight. I'll PM you to arrange another day.

No Worries Matt - I actually came down with a cold so couldn't make training either.
I'm planning on joining the park run and swim on Saturday - if you're coming to that, that could work?
If not I'll be at a few training sessions next week - thanks again for the belt!
