We’ll be have 2, TWO!, bike talks in the new year, one with the talented Windrush members Rory and Haley and one non windy, Louise Moriarty.

Rory and Haley will be talking about all the fun stuff you can do outside road bike racing, such as cross cycling, cross triathlon, or packing up your bike with the most minimal equipment you can get away with and ride ridiculous amounts of mileage, which makes an Ironman appear a walk in the park. If you are looking to diversify your cycling, look no further to when the date is set for this talk.

Louise, in her words, will ‘explain a bunch of triathletes how to do road racing’. Louise is a current Cat 2 cyclist and is looking back on a successful career in road and track racing, having won multiple championships in Ireland and elsewhere. Louise will talk about the different types of races, categorisation systems, how to move to the front in a bunch and bits around the racing scene in London. She is also happy to answer any questions and her experience as a female athlete in a still male dominated sport. Louise’s talk will be 24 February, so plenty of time to rearrange diaries and sign up on My clubhouse.
