The lovely 90m lido at Jesus Green has just re-opened for 2019 so I'm planning on riding up on Sat 8th June for a swim and then getting the train back to London afterwards.

Distance likely to be around 110km, pace will be strictly social/touring (around 22km/hr) with a lunch stop about 3/4s of the way. If anyone would like to join for a gentle ride through some lovely (and flat!) countryside and a spot of lido tourism then post below.

I've mapped a route here, hopefully around 5hrs riding. https://www.strava.com/routes/9391486

Don't forget to bring usual bike nutrition, drinks and inner tubes, plus your swimming gear, a decent bike lock (lots of bike thefts in Cambridge!), and some money for lunch, the lido (£4.80), and the train back (~£15).

And as noted above, speed will be social, especially as we're carrying so much stuff!

Hey, I'd be quite up for this. I've had quite a few injuries this year though and only just starting to get stronger on the bike, so I might have to play it by ear - may end up only being able to do some of the route then have to head off and get a train back or something.

That's no problem Alex, we go past quite a few train stations, plus the route is super flat so not too taxing if you are only just getting back to longer distances.
