Time: March 13, 2017 from 7pm to 8pm
Location: The Prince Regent, 69 Dulwich Road London SE24 0NJ
Event Type: talk
Organized By: Lucy Hurn
Latest Activity: Mar 13, 2017
For many, attending Windrush sessions when you can, and occasional training outside of club sessions, is all you need to get race ready. But for others who do most of their training outside of club sessions, who are prone to getting injured, or who have very specific goals such as finishing on the podium , qualifying for age group honours or training for longer distance races, you’ll need to spend a bit more time planning your training – in which case this is the seminar for you!
We’ll be looking at how to structure your own training plan to help you reach your goals – how to build your training throughout the season, when to schedule recovery and taper for races, and how to incorporate club sessions. We’ll be joined by Nick Flower, Performance Development officer, who will be talking about qualifying for international age group races and racing in the London League.
Lucyis the Head Coach and on the Windrush Committee
