Penshurst Cross Country this sunday 6th Jan

All,I meant to post this last year but who fancies this annual super low-key event down in Penshurst in Kent.A few of us did it last year, it's a great fun mud-fest followed by a couple of drinks by a roaring fire in the local pub.Race starts 11:30 so a nice easy trip down there without too early a start.Details on Stuweb, link attached. Yes it was a long hot day alright!
Sad to hear you had to retire, just goes to show how important nutrition and hydration is on these longer events.
I came over a bit funny too at about 200km but a quick pit stop at a lovely pub for a cold coke and a ham sandwich seemed to sort me out.got to Burnham just before 8pm
